Terms of service
Last updated July 25, 2026.
These terms govern your use of concertustechnologies.com and your purchase of Concertus, Continuo, and Spectus (together, the “software”) from Concertus Technologies (“we,” “us”). By using this site, downloading a demo, or making a purchase, you agree to them.
The software
Concertus, Continuo, and Spectus are sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions: you pay once and keep the version you bought. A purchase gives you a license to use the software, governed by our end user license agreement, not ownership of it. That license permits activation on a limited number of machines, shown to you at the time of purchase and in your account.
Demos
Every product has a free, fully-featured demo available before you buy, delivered by email after you confirm your address. A demo is for evaluation on your own machine, in your own sessions, for as long as you need to decide.
Purchases and payment
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record for these transactions. Paddle handles payment, applicable sales tax, and your receipt, and their own terms of sale apply to the transaction itself alongside these terms. All prices are shown in US dollars. All sales are final — see our refund policy.
Your account
Buying software or requesting a demo may create an account you use to sign in, see what you own, and download builds. You are responsible for keeping your credentials to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.
Acceptable use
Don’t share, resell, or publish your serial number or license — it is issued to you. Don’t reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent the software’s licensing beyond what applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction. Don’t use the site or the software for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
Intellectual property
The software, this site, and their content — code, design, text, and the Concertus Technologies name and marks — belong to us or our licensors. A purchase or demo grants you a license to use the software under the EULA; it does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property right to you.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The software and this site are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind beyond what applicable law requires and does not allow us to disclaim. To the fullest extent the law allows, Concertus Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software or this site, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the software and store evolve. The version posted here is the one in effect; continuing to use the site or software after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the software will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
