Privacy policy

Last updated July 25, 2026.

This describes what Concertus Technologies (“we,” “us”) collects when you download a demo, buy Concertus, Continuo, or Spectus, or use your account, and what we do with it. We collect only what running the store and demo delivery actually needs.

What we collect

Demo requests. Just the email address you give us, to send the verification link and download. We do not create an account for a demo request alone.

Purchases. Your name and email, from Paddle once a purchase completes. We never see or store your card number — Paddle, our merchant of record, handles payment directly and is the only party with access to it.

Your account. If you sign in to the customer portal, your email, your password (stored hashed, never in plain text, by our authentication provider), and the licenses and serial numbers tied to your purchases.

License activations. When you activate a serial number, we record a hash of the machine (not raw device identifiers), an optional machine name you can set, and the app version — just enough to enforce the seat limit on your license and help you manage which machines it is active on.

Support and contact. Whatever you send us through the contact page, used only to answer you.

How we use it

To deliver demos and serial numbers, run your account and the customer portal, enforce license seat limits, respond to support requests, and meet our own legal and tax obligations (largely handled by Paddle as merchant of record). We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you beyond what your own account and license history naturally contain.

What we share, and with whom

We do not sell your data, ever. We share only what each of the following needs to do its job:

Paddle.com — payment processing, tax, and your purchase receipt, as merchant of record for the transaction.

Resend and Zoho — deliver the emails we send you (demo links, order confirmations, sign-in and password-reset links). They see the email address and message content needed to send that one email.

Supabase and Vercel — host our database and website. They store and serve the data described above on our behalf, under their own security commitments.

We do not share your data with anyone else, and never for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in to the admin console or customer portal — not to track you across other sites, and not for advertising. We run no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and license data for as long as your account exists or your license could still be activated, whichever is longer, and as needed to meet legal or tax obligations after that. Ask us to delete your account and we will, subject to records we are required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you at any time through the contact page. If applicable law gives you additional rights over your data, those apply in full alongside this policy.

Children

Our software and site are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the store and product evolve. The version posted here is the one in effect.
